A Tangled Web is an appropos description for Humans and Animals United’s very less than honest and total un-transparent strategy by which they solicit “pledges”. Their “Pledges For Profits” scheme which they have perfected on social media to deceive people into parting with their hard earned money. Little do people know that there are many Facebook profiles and pages plus other social media asking for “pledges” for the same shelter dog simultaneously.
In the eyes of those who do not know the magnitude of their web and this strategy it may appear the dog on one of those pages needs more “pledges”.
In reality there are a core group of profiles and pages always involved in this web. Along with lots of offshoots, smaller pages and of course shares they constantly ask for. The more the better. All broadening their reach which means more “pledges”.
The end result is MANY THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS in “pledges” spread all over social media. Where it isn’t obvious to those who don’t detect their scheme. Dollars that FAR EXCEED what any good or reputable rescue would ever ask for to save a dog. So WHERE DOES THAT OVERAGE GO?

One half of the brains behind the machine called “Humans and Animals United” and co-architect of their “Pledges For Profits” fraudulent scheme. Rosa Fond has no known employment other than what appears on her LinkedIn resume. Where she portrays herself in an executive position in her husband Anthony’s shell company Fond LLC and as a part time actress and runway model.
Lacking legitimate employment and having a checkered past not unlike her spouse Anthony devising a scheme like their current “Pledges For Profits” brings home the bacon. It is an extremely deceptive scheme preying on generous people exploiting shelter dogs as the “vehicle”. At face value it is certainly less detectable for what it is while disguising the worst human greed as good or charitable works. Its all a farce and a front! But the scheme they developed is much less dangerous or risky compared to the things they have done in their backgrounds. They can do this right from the comfort of home on their phone or computer. In other words this is EASY MONEY. All neatly disguised with a bunch of fluffy social media where they portray themselves as philanthropists and saviors when in fact they are PROFITEERS OFF THE BACKS OF INNOCENT SHELTER DOGS.
Rosa is known for getting her close associates aka “the flying monkeys” who she pays for their loyalty (out of donated funds) to do her dirty work for her. Including harassing and slandering anyone who dare have the nerve to question the way this rescue operates. The degree to which they attempt to silence their critics is next level. Certainly not the way innocent people or any good, reputable rescue would ever behave on a consistent and almost daily basis.
Rosa refers to herself as the “OWNER” of Humans and Animals United and states that this rescue, a non profit that should not have ownership interests AT ALL is her and her husband Anthony’s “BUSINESS”. From a financial standpoint this terminology is very telling with respect to how the Fonds, as founders of this non profit, view the revenue/income derived by the non profit and their level of accountability or lack thereof to their donors.
When you couple their view of “OWNERSHIP” of the rescue with the personal financial history and track record of Mr. and Mrs. Fond/Hinkle most would see these are not individuals to be entrusted as good stewards of non profit funds.
Anthony Fond aka Anthony Hinkle

Board President of Humans and Animals United from its inception thru 7/11/2024 at which time he resigned and Rosa became President.
Owner of multiple companies that verifiably appear to be shell companies or a fraudulent front. These shell companies include Castlegate LLC (just formed in 2024), Fond LLC, Fond Finance, The Fond Organization, Results Inc, Results Resourcing Inc and Bluisle Inc. Mr. Fond has never possessed any corresponding Florida licenses to engage in any of the several business sectors he represents himself to engage in. Anthony has no known employment other than these companies above he is listed as owner of per public record.
Anthony is the co-architect with Rosa of the “Pledges For Profits” fraudulent scheme while not often seen on social media. He was President of the organization from its inception until 7/11/2024 at which time he suddenly resigned. The date of his resignation stands out as interesting considering its the same date of another event in an investigation into the Fonds and Humans and Animals United.
People may be asking where did the “aka Hinkle” come from? He was in fact born Anthony Hinkle but changed his last name well into adulthood. The Fonds devised an “adoption” story to make it sound more palatable while many speculate and it seems pretty obvious was to avoid his felony and financial record.
One cannot portray themselves as the real estate magnate and financial whiz he does on his online resumes, fluffy promotional pieces and websites with what would appear in his past should he have continued being a Hinkle. Enter the last name Fond. That little name change puts people off his trail. Those who have looked into all of his and Rosa’s many claims of business success and the legitimacy of these companies he claims to own and manage have found zero verifiable proof of any of it.
Barbara Queenbee ~ Real Name Barbara Smith aka Barbara Ranberg

Many talents include hiding behind fake profiles. Running Anabel Anderson and Jamie Mateo‘s profiles (See Below). So much for “I don’t hide behind anything or anyone”. WHY THE FAKE PROFILES IF YOU AREN’T HIDING?
Barbara DEFINITELY IS hiding behind dozens of profiles and pages. While she spins the most vile and disgusting untrue stories about others. Anyone who dares to speak out against Humans and Animals United. NOTHING is off limits to Barbara. NOTHING. She will stop at nothing to do damage to anyone who will attempt to expose her leader and their Pledges For Profits Scheme.
Barbara not surprisingly also has no known employment. However she often refers to herself as an “employee” of Humans and Animals United and calls Rosa Fond her “boss”. Nowhere in the yearly financial filings does a salary or any income appear for Barbara so HOW CAN THIS BE?
Stephanie Zorn Lopez

Mother to the current Board Secretary of Humans and Animals United. Stephanie seems to float in and out of Facebook. According to sources Stephanie allows Rosa Fond to access her profile when she is MIA. Remember what we said about the person behind the screen and you don’t know WHO you are talking to. Be on the lookout for Stephanie’s change of demeanor because odds are its Rosa!
Stephanie appears to be an easily led stooge. Having been with the rescue for many years she has acted as their slander “hit person”, a position she seems to relish. She always steps in to prop up the latest deception or lies. You will find Stephanie doing the bidding of her leader, Rosa, and parroting whatever nasty untruths the “rescue” wants to put out there to deflect from their own wrong-doings attempting to silence any criticism.
While claiming to be a victim of violence and having PTSD, she certainly acts with total disregard for the TRUTH or OTHERS with her statements. They say often times the abused become the abuser and Stephanie sure exemplifies that.

Anabel’s many talents are similar to Jamie Mateo’s. She exists to trick people. Raise pledges and slander any rescue critics.

The unsuspecting public and donors making “pledges” are likewise being tricked and scammed every single day by Humans and Animals United with the use of these Facebook Pages.
These pages dishonestly claim that the pages are run by “Unpaid Volunteers Not Affiliated With Any Shelter Or Rescue”.

Pay attention to who pulls the majority of dogs posted on these pages from shelters and its NOT hard to see who is running these pages.
These pages highlight dogs at shelters Humans and Animals United have a rescue partnership agreement with. Mainly Miami Dade Animal Services and Rockdale County Animal Services in Georgia.
These fraudulent and misleading Facebook Pages often “BOOST” their page and posts using Facebook/Meta Ads. Most likely using misappropriated Facebook “pledges” or YOUR donations to do so.
No reputable animal rescue operates in this manner. Where intentional and deliberate dishonesty is part of a rescue’s strategy to raise “pledges”.
